Tata Motors Enters Algerian Market with Passenger Car Range

In 2013 Tata Motors entered the Australian market and now it’s expanding its global reach with the launch its passenger vehicle range into Algeria.


The range includes the hatchback twins Tata Indica and Tata Vista as well as the Tata Indigo and Tata Manza sedans.


SPA Elsecom distributes 10 automotive brands in the region and last year achieved sales in excess of 340,000 vehicles, will handle all marketing and distribution functions for Tata Motors.


Tata Motors and SPA Elsecom have set up dealerships at Algiers and Oran, with plans underway to establish 10 additional sales and service centres to cover important regions, by the end of this year.

Tata Motors began its international journey in 1961 and today the company has a presence across Europe, Latin America, Africa, Russia, Middle East, Asia and in 2013 Australia, with the introduction of the Xenon LCV range.
