Making its global debut on the Tata Motors stand at the 2015 Geneva Motorshow was the Tata Hexa, an all-new muscular and sporty SUV concept.

Aimed at those with an active lifestyle, the Hexa concept is an elegant and sophisticated, SUV that unveils a new design direction of future TATA SUVs.

The Hexa concept’s flowing exterior lines deliver a unique exclusive appearance, for a sophisticated, modern, touring-grade SUV featuring a sculpted bonnet and sweeping roofline, coupled with large 19-inch alloy wheels.

Lavishly appointed with leather upholstery throughout, the clever flexible seating in the Hexa concept allows up to six in comfort. Soft-touch materials combine with the longest cabin in its class, while mood lighting, automatic climate control and an audiophile grade infotainment system, add to the ambience.

Powering the Hexa concept is an all-new 2.2 litre VARICOR 400 diesel engine with maximum output of 115 kW and 400 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 6 speed automatic transmission.

For difficult terrain, torque-on-demand all wheel drive is available.

Occupants are ensconced in the safety of 6 airbags, Electronic Stability Control, powerful projector beam automatic headlamps and rain sensing wipers.

Tata Motors vehicles are imported into Australia by Fusion Automotive, which is part of the Walkinshaw Group and established late 2013 to market the six-model, Tata Xenon LCV range.

Fusion Automotive Chief Operations Officer, Oliver Lukeis said, "Our priority continues the establishment of the Tata Motors brand and marketing the Xenon LCV range. However, when we expand our future model lineup, we hope there will be an SUV for us to consider".
